It is finally happening. After months of rumors, it was announced last week that officially In-N-Out is coming to Twin Falls. More details will be released in the coming weeks, with a timeline and what to expect, but the news is headline-grabbing for certain. Many are excited to be able to enjoy the popular burger chain without having to drive to Utah or Boise, but some are upset about the announcement. It seems silly that many people would be upset about having more eating options in town, but based on early feedback, more people are upset than excited. Twin Falls Upset About New In-N-Out

Many should be excited about In-N-Out coming, especially considering how many claim to enjoy it, but that doesn't appear to be the case. It might seem odd, but a few reasons are playing into these reactions. The first is simple, and that is some are unfamiliar with it and don't know what the big deal is. Some have had it, and don't think it is that good, and would rather see something else come to Twin Falls or nothing at all. It is well known that certain residents would like to see the town stop growing, and bringing in an In-N-Out is a sign that things won't be slowing down. While these reactions are mostly opinion-based and make sense, other reasons are playing a factor in the negative responses as well. 

Why Twin Falls is Angry About In-N-Out

One of the main reasons people are not happy about In-N-Out coming to Twin Falls has nothing to do with the restaurant, but more the location. The rumored location is where Outback is currently located. Many are upset that Outback appears to be closing and leaving the area, but the location also appears to not be ideal for In-N-Out. With the fast food chain known to have long lines, the thought of the line making its way into PetSmart's parking lot, or out into the street on Blue Lakes is not ideal. There are better places in town to accommodate the traffic that In-N-Outs demand. Time will tell if the location works, but many are already questioning it.
