UPDATE: Twin Falls Deputies Respond to Shooting at Dairy
Buhl, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) - Twin Falls Deputies were called to a dairy at 1300 East and 4000 North, following the report of gun shots fired and a fight early this morning. According to the Twin Falls Sheriff's office former employee Austreberto Ibarra-Zavala walked into the Silva Dairy. Zavala pulled a firearm out, grabbed a male employee by the arm and pulled him out of the barn. The victim was able to break away from the grasp and run at which time Zavala fired two shots from a nine millimeter, missing the victim.
Lori Stewart with the Twin Falls County Sheriff said that when deputies arrived at 1:09 am people began running into nearby buildings including a home. Police from Buhl, and the Idaho State Police assisted the Twin Falls County Sheriff Deputies in securing the area.
Two people have been detained but authorities are not saying if those two were suspects in the shooting. Authorities remain on the scene at this time as they continue their investigation. Names of the individuals involved have not been released.
