Twin Falls City Council To Increase Size Of Auger Falls Park
After tonight’s Twin Falls City Council meeting the Auger Falls Park could be a few acres bigger. The Council is expected to vote later today on an agreement that would add 161 acres of federal public land to the Auger Falls park, thereby increasing its size from the current 520 acres to just over 680 acres.
The land is currently under the control of the BLM. The transfer of the land to the city a project started several years ago by U.S. Representative Mike Simpson and U.S. Senator Mike Crapo.
