Don’t Miss Twin Falls Casa Blanca Gala Saturday Night

You need clear your calendar for Saturday night and get a sitter because this kind of fun only comes every once in a while. How can you go wrong with dinner, silent and live auctions, casino games, and live music? Well, you can’t.

There’s something fun coming this Saturday, April 22nd to Twin Falls. It’s the ‘Here’s Looking at You Kid’ Casa Blanca Gala at Canyon Crest Event Center from 6 to 11 PM. Tickets are on sale now, but there are only a few left. Business Card Sponsorships are available as well. My only regret is not knowing about this event sooner.

It’s all to help CASA. They train and support volunteers who help abused children in our district. Camas, Cassia, Blaine, Gooding, Jerome, Lincoln, Minidoka, and Twin Falls counties all benefit from the money raised at this event. These volunteers look into a child’s needs in foster care and report to judges on what those needs are. Children all across the 5th Judicial District need all the support they can get. Healthy happy children can become healthy adjusted adults. CASA helps those kids along that path.

I have a personal history with the foster program. My parents fostered my brothers when I was young. My co-worker was a foster parent and one of my family members is a foster parent. They benefit from the trained volunteers of the CASA program. The support of volunteers in conjunction with the foster program was vital.
