Normally when I'm talking about thighs it has something to do with KFC, though today it was all about your health.

We have all heard the phrase 'thick thighs save lives', right? Well, aside from being just a funny thing that people say, it turns out it may actually be true! According to Fatherly.com, a new study on the matter indicated that carrying your extra weight in the thigh and hip region could lead to a longer life. People who carry their extra weight in their bellies and mid-sections are more likely to die prematurely.

This wasn't some half-assed study either (see what I did there?). This study was done by renowned medical journal BMJ and they followed more than 2 million people for nearly 24 years. Wow! So, the next time you're looking in the mirror and you think that your hips and thighs are a little too big, take a little solace in knowing that your skinnier legged friends may very well croak before you. Isn't that a nice thought?
