Let's go ahead and put a pre-emptive damper on your summer vacation.  Ya know, just to mess with you. According to a new survey from PlanetSki , about 20% of people have an accident, get sick, or suffer some kind of an injury on vacation.

Don't aks me why but last night I was watching Dina Eastwood's realty show and she was trying to prove a point to her daughter by periecing her belly button.

Should doctors be able to prescribe VACATIONS?  We don't know if it's a realistic possibility, but it would be good for the country in two ways.  One, doctors would prescribe us fewer mind-controlling pills, and two, we'd actually be FORCED to relax.

Some friends of our just got back from an amazing vacation. They had a great time but they both admitted that they were gone way to long to the point were everyone wanted to kill each other the last few days. This was not a good way to wrap up their vacation.

Wonder why every time you visit a major American landmark it's swarmed with foreign tourists?  It's because American tourists don't ever visit. A new survey by WebProNews and Hotwire.com found the majority of Americans haven't been to five of this country's major, important landmarks.  Check it out . . . 72% of Americans have never visited the Alamo.

Here's another reason to ostracize smokers. Their cigarettes get them a TON of extra time off.  Light smokers take about 18 minutes of smoke breaks a day, which adds up to the same as NINE extra "vacation" days a year. Heavy smokers can take up to an hour's worth of breaks a day that adds up to 29 full work days off, or almost six weeks...

Everyone loves the Super Bowl and would give up almost anything to actually attend the Super Bowl.

This might be different for you if you have older kids but, I have little kids so having them travel without me for a few days makes me nervous. Even if my kids are with people I  completely trust, I still hold my breath while they are gone.

As a child I have very found memories of Amusement Parks. I remember being so excited to go to an amusement park that I couldn't sleep the night before. So as a parent I wanted to give my kids that same joy. So this weekend we packed up the stroller, cooler, back pack, swim gear, sunscreen, hats, etc. and headed to Utah.

I have some good friends who live out of town. They have always told me to call them if I ever needed a place to stay. So I decided to take them up on their offer. I called my friends to make arrangements for the weekend and the response I got was disappointing, she said, "Well, I guess we can rearrange our schedule"...

If you don't have kids, you'd better get all your exotic traveling in now.  Book your trip to Cambodia or the Amazon or Tahiti.  Because once kids show up, you're looking at a few decades of Disneyland and places that serve mediocre spaghetti.

Do you consider yourself lazy? The stereotypes say we're lazy, but Americans are NOT good at taking vacation days.  But according to a new study from Metro , even if you don't take a lot of actual vacations . . . you really do need to take a day off every few months...
