Sand Dunes

May is the ideal month for sandboarding and hiking the dunes, as the temperatures tend to remain on the cooler side making the sand perfect for these types of activities.

The dunes are less than a three-hour drive northeast of Twin Falls, and consist of more than 10,000 acres of quartz sand.
