A growing list of 2016 CMT Music Awards performers have been announced. The show is being billed as "Country Music's Loudest Night," and its all-star lineup includes some of the biggest names in country music.

The Country Music Association has announced the 2015 inductees to the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Oak Ridge Boys band member Richard Sterban's mother, Victoria Sterban, passed away on Sept. 1. She was 94 years old.

Duane Allen of the Oak Ridge Boys has been inducted into the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame.

The 2014 CMA Fest went out with a bang on Sunday (June 9), the last day of the four-day music festival. It was highlighted by performances from several fan-favorite artists who lit up the stage at LP Field in Nashville.

Ronnie Gant is another man who quietly helped shape the careers of many famous country stars while receiving little public attention. The Oak Ridge Boys and Garth Brooks are two acts that owe him a tip of the hat this week. Gant died on Saturday (Jan. 4) in Nashville.

The four-part harmonies and upbeat songs of The Oak Ridge Boys have spawned dozens of Country hits and a Number One Pop smash, earned them Grammy, Dove, CMA, and ACM awards and garnered a host of other industry and fan accolades.
