An Idaho woman charged with tampering with physical evidence connected to the disappearance of a Colorado mother is set to appear in court Friday.
Court records filed this week suggest the charge filed Monday against Krystal Jean Lee Kenney is related to the death of Kelsey Berreth, who was last seen on Thanksgiving.
On Saturday, in a joint statement between the Twin Falls Police Department and the Twin Falls County Sheriff's Office, investigators executed search warrants on behalf of state and federal investigators out of Colorado in the case of the mother who went missing there around Thanksgiving
She disappeared on Thanksgiving Day after dropping her daughter off at her fiance's house. Her phone has been pinging here in Idaho, and now the man she thought loved her has been charged with her murder.
