Gov. Brad Little said Idaho is nearing crisis in its hospitals as intensive care wings are nearly full of COVID-19 patients. On Tuesday, the governor repeatedly asked people who have not gotten the COVID-19 vaccine to do so during a brief announcement.
The governor and state health officials are worried COVID-19 case counts could increase this fall and exceed last year's peak daily counts if more Idahoans don't get vaccinated.
Gov. Brad Little signed an executive order Friday repealing another executive order the lieutenant governor used to ban state and local governments from mandating masks in response to COVID-19.
