Canyon Ridge High School

Yesterday I saw a flier for, "Back To School". Every mom feels slightly overwhelmed when "Back to School" is mentioned. There is a lot to do in order to get your kids ready for school... AND, back to school time is extremely expensive! So, you can imagine my surprise when I saw an advertisement for "Back To School".

When I was in school it seemed like there was a lot of time that passed between school break to school break, but know that my son is in school it seems like there is a school break every other week.

Players will fight players and students will fight students in the annual Canyon Ridge boxing smoker, December 15th at 7:00pm at Canyon Ridge High School.

Both Canyon Ridge and Twin Falls are full of school spirit as they gear up for the Service Bowl on Friday night at CRHS.

Eight Idaho schools have won $100,000 grants from the J.A. and Kathryn Albertson Foundation in an effort to increase the number of kids who attend college or other post-secondary training. The schools were chosen out of 55 after competing in several categories, including increasing the number of  students taking college preparatory exams and upper-level math and science coursework...

It's always a blast having local students on our show.  Today, Canyon Ridge Student Council members, Cable, Lindsay, and Sidney stopped by to talk about Homecoming Week at Canyon Ridge.

Cheney Drive between Canyon Ridge and Walmart is currently 35mph.  Twin Falls City Council is debating whether or not the speed zone adjacent to the school be reduced to 25mph, during school hours.  Some of you, who have seen high-school students racing down Cheney agree that the speed limit should be reduced...
