Big Wood River

As drought conditions persist in the Magic Valley the Idaho Department of Fish and Game is allowing a fish salvage for the Big Wood River north of Shoshone and parts of the Richfield Canal diversion.

A fish salvage order will be issued for an area bellow the Magic Reservoir Dam in Blaine County as water flows will be shut down.

A bridge replacement project is expected to get underway the first week of May over the Big Wood River north of Ketchum.

Sheriff officials say a Hailey man is in critical condition after he got stuck in a raft on the Big Wood River Sunday.
