Not a single Halloween passes without my wife and I watching the films The Shining, It, and 1408, which all came from the mind of the great writer. The Shining is a top-five all-time favorite movie of mine and is a masterpiece in my opinion.

After multiple major delays, the long-awaited sequel to '300' is finally nearing release, and now Warner Bros. has revealed the new '300: Rise of an Empire' trailer. After all, we wouldn't blame anyone for thinking that this movie vanished into the ether or simply never existed in the first place. But is the wait worth it? What got accomplished during all of those delays? Will 'Rise of an Empire'

According to a study out of the University of California, Berkeley, there could be a MASS EXTINCTION on this planet in just a few centuries.  So . . . um . . . start stocking canned goods?
