
Magic Valley ID Group Has Plans For Indoor Hockey, Skating Rink
News of a proposed indoor ice facility in southern Idaho is slowly circulating online throughout multiple communities. Such a project would cost a good deal of money, but would be beneficial for families with kids wanting to get serious about a future in ice sports such as skating and hockey.
Hockey and ice skating may not be wildly popular in the southern Idaho desert, but plans to construct a facility where area youth can enjoy some rink time are an exciting prospect and provide another activity for Magic Valley families who enjoy staying active.
Any option that replaces hours spent in front of our electronics with physical activity should be pursued for the sake of health.

A Magic Valley Team Has Laid Out Designs For A Proposed Indoor Ice Facility
News of an effort to drive plans forward for an indoor ice facility that could cost upwards of $15 million has been shared by a group known as Southern Idaho Ice. Southern Idaho Ice has been in the process of gathering input from the community through an online survey, according to their Meta page.

Utah recently acquired a professional hockey team that plays just three hours outside Twin Falls, and Boise is home to Idaho's minor league team, the Steelheads, so the sport has become more and more popular with those in the Gem State in recent years.
