There was a peach recall, over 52,000 water guns were pulled from shelves due to the ink on the stickers and I just wrote about the barbecue chips that were contaminated with milk. Hello, 2020! This one is a dog food problem and I know how important are in the Treasure Valley.
This is a Salmonella fear that could also impact humans from handling pet food. This is a voluntary recall which I've been seeing a lot of lately.
A recall is a voluntary action that takes place because manufacturers and distributors carry out their responsibility to protect the public health and well-being from products that present a risk of injury or gross deception or are otherwise defective.
Sunshine Mills, Inc. has issued this voluntary recall of Nature's Menu Super Premium Dog Food with a Blend of Real Chicken & Quail. This is all because of a potential Salmonella health risk and there are several versions of this product so make sure to go down the list.
Here's what you should keep an eye out for when it comes to your pets. Call a veterinary assistant if your dog has diarrhea or bloody diarrhea, fever, and vomiting. If you fed your dog this product and see these I would go to the vet asap.
