Since right around Christmas, I've been seeing/hearing about two shows on Netflix: Bird Box and Tidying Up With Marie Kondo. I immediately watched Bird Box but haven't gotten to the Marie Kondo series yet, where she goes into peoples' homes and helps them clean up their lives and get rid of clutter.

Personally, this show is right up my alley. I love decluttering and do it for my friends often. A lot of us become emotionally attached to things and have a hard time getting rid of them. I try to practice 'non-attachment', something I learned a lot about through yoga. It's easiest for me to do so with material items, less with situations and people/relationships.

Once you decide to declutter and actually do it, it's so freeing! But just watching the show is giving people major anxiety:

Pretty sure watching this will have the opposite effect on me and I'll be brought major joy by seeing her transform peoples' lives and spaces. I'll be checking this out on Netflix soon!
