Lukas Nelson is an official BAFTA Award winner — along with collaborators Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper — for their work on A Star Is Born for the Best Original Music category.

Only Cooper was in London to receive the award on Sunday (Feb.10) at the ceremony, but accepted for all three collaborators.

Nelson accepted via Instagram writing: "We won a BAFTA! Congrats to my amazing friends @ladygaga and Bradley Cooper, and to my amazing band @promiseoftherealofficial for creating something truly special!! Thank you for the recognition @bafta!"

Gaga also took to Instagram, adding, "I can't believe we just won Best Original Music @BAFTA's We made a film about music. This means the world to me. Thank u to all our fans we love u so much, we wouldn’t be here without u."

Gaga will be attending the 61st Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, Feb. 10. She has already won one award for the night.

Though Gaga and Cooper were the stars of the film, Nelson was a musical consultant for the film as well as playing a member of Cooper's (Jackson Maine) band. Nelson was credited in helping create seven songs in the film. This remake marks the fourth time someone has remade the film since the original movie was created in 1937.

The soundtrack beat out BlacKKKlansman (Terence Blanchard), If Beale Street Could Talk (Nicholas Britell), Isle of Dogs (Alexandre Desplat) and Mary Poppins Returns (Marc Shaiman) for the Best Original Music BAFTA award. A Star Is Born was also nominated in Best Film, Leading Actor, Leading Actress, Director, Adapted Screenplay and Sound categories.

The BAFTA Awards  (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) are an independent, arts-focused charity. A complete list of 2019 BAFTA Awards winners is available here at BAFTA.org.
