As we expected, Idaho will remain in the 4th phase of re-opening amid the Coronavirus pandemic.

It has been a heated debate from the start--"it" being how to react and handle the pandemic that we have on our hands. As many nations slowly "recover", and I use that term lightly, the United States, comparatively, is still battling rising case numbers. Here in Idaho, the numbers also continue to rise and we're seeing the Gem State being at the top of lists across the nation for increases.

As we expected, Governor Brad Little has extended Phase 4 for two more weeks. Here in the Treasure Valley, Ada County, which remains unrelated to today's press conference, is still in its reverted phase, three.

Along with this announcement, officials discussed the back to school plan and it's not IF, but WHEN and HOW. Each school district will be allowed to decide on their own how to responsibly move forward.
