Crews Rescue Two Dogs From Twin Falls House Fire on Wednesday
According to reports from local news sources, six people were displaced by the fire, but none of them were at the home when the fire started. Two dogs were rescued from the home by first responders. During the response, crews used pry tools and chainsaws to cut into the roof of the home to gain access and fight the fire.
Smoke could be seen billowing from the home as the teams worked. In an interview with KMVT, the Twin Falls Fire Chief said they are unsure of how the fire started, and while flames were discovered on the upper floor, they believe it began on the first floor. Due to the uncertainty of the fire source, crews worked from the top (roof) down to fight the fire and smoke.
These pictures were also taken from the location, highlighting the number of vehicles that responded to the fire and showing the smoke flowing from the roof.
