A young father was killed in a gravel pit accident in Twin Falls on Wednesday afternoon. Authorities reported the accident on social media and a fundraiser was quickly started to help the family of the deceased man, which includes his wife and two young children.

GoFundMe Announced For Family of Man Killed in Twin Falls Gravel Pit Accident

The Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office shared the sad news in a press release on social media, stating that the accident happened on Wednesday, September 2nd, at a gravel pit located at 2950 N 3500 E. 27-year-old Seth Vaughn was working at the gravel pit around 4:20 in the afternoon, when he became caught in a conveyor belt. He passed away at the scene.

The fundraiser online (as of right now) through GoFundMe has raised over $30,000 for the family of Seth. The money will go to Seth’s wife Gentry and his two young daughters. Seth was the main source of income for the family and the fundraiser will help alleviate some of the monetary stress of the funeral and daily needs of the family.
