There are a lot of ways to teach someone the rules of driving and how to drive, but this is a first for us. Police in Southern Idaho have compared driving to a sandwich, and it makes sense. Now we want all of our driving lessons to be taught with food references.

The Facebook page for the police department in Jerome, Idaho, is known for comical posts. Some of them are informative, and others are just entertaining. Some think they should be more ‘professional’ in their posts, but based on the fact that they have nearly 60K followers, it’s safe to say they are reaching an audience much larger than their city population.

Idaho Police Compare Driving to Making a Sandwich, and it Makes Sense

Their latest post is their attempt to present ‘actual traffic information’ in a ‘more serious’ way. To do this, they compared driving to a sandwich, and now when I drive, I see the lines as food condiments. Nice.

How do you think they did? They did omit ketchup, but that would probably be the roadkill lines on many Idaho roads. Gross.

As unappealing as it may seem to many people, there are those who are fine with gathering dead animals from the side of the road to cook for dinner. And in Idaho, that is totally fine and legal for most carcasses.

Just don’t invite us over for that meal.
