When Does the Labelle Lake Ice Palace Open in Idaho?

The Labelle Lake Ice Palace is easily the most beautiful winter attraction in Idaho. The ice, lights, occasional fire show, and winter characters make it the most wonderful place in Idaho during the most wonderful time of the year.

If you haven’t been to the ice palace you need to put it on your list this year.

Will the Most Beautiful Winter Attraction in Idaho Open in December?

The Labelle Lake Ice Palace in Rigby Idaho is dependent on Mother Nature when it comes to opening to the public. It has to be cold enough for long enough to create the amazing ice sculptures and buildings. The plan is to open in December, but the official opening date is still TBD. Check out the previous years' pictures and keep scrolling for advanced ticket information and videos.

While the opening date is still unknown, you can purchase discount advanced tickets online so you’re ready when that opening date does come. You can save $10 on the season pass until December 15th. Last year the palace was able to open on December 17th. We'll update this post once the opening date gets announced.

The Ice Palace has a lot of special events happening this season including the Opening Day Celebration, New Year’s Eve Fireworks, A Galaxy Far, Far Away Night, Light Shows, Fire Performances, and more.
