Haunted in Boise? Popular Restaurant Shares Spooky Nighttime Footage

Hauntings in Boise? Ghosts in Boise? Does that stuff really go on here?

According to one local restaurant and a whole lot of folks online: it sure does. There seems to be an overwhelming understanding that a downtown Boise staple, the historic Idanha Building, might just be one of the most haunted around.

We love to brag that Boise is a special and safe place to live but even we can't be immune from this!

Home to several local businesses, the Idanha was recently in the news because

The building is also home to Guru Donuts (a Boise staple) and Bombay Grill, a locally owned Indian Food Restaurant.

Bombay Grill is the very restaurant that has over 50,000 views and counting on what appears to be, some sort of haunting CAUGHT ON CAMERA!

We just pulled the security footage from last night and... we have questions. The legendary Idanha Hotel has a long history of “unexplained” activities, and it looks like our ceiling decided to join the lore. Is this just an old building being an old building, or is a certain “permanent resident” of the Idanha making their presence known in our dining room?  

 

The restaurant then continued to cite a few other 'spooky' occurrences that to be honest, we're dying to hear about!

From the phantom elevators to the lady in the white dress, the spirits of the Idanha are known to be active—but we didn’t expect a 3:00 AM renovation project from the other side.

In the video, you'll notice that things start falling down and moving around -- totally unprovoked. The flashing lights scared us a little during our first watch but it seems to us it's nothing more than a garbage truck or some sort of city vehicle outside with flashing amber lights.

Lots of people think it could be ghosts, given the old and historic nature of the building. Others? They think the building just needs some repairs.
