AMERICAN FALLS, Idaho (AP) — Three eastern Idaho duck hunters whose boat sank in the Snake River near Massacre Rocks State Park have been rescued.

The Power County Sheriff's Office tells the Idaho State Journal the men were hunting Saturday morning when their boat sank and all three swam to the north shore of the river across from the boat ramp.

One of the men, all in their late 20s or early 30s, had a working cellphone and called 911. Sheriff's Deputy Gary Krell says the water was calm without much current, and warmer weather also helped.

Though cold, none of the men needed treatment. A search and rescue team recovered the men's 16-foot aluminum boat and some of their gear.
