During a press conference on Monday night (Sept. 8), the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation confirmed that remains found in Decatur County, Tenn. were those of Holly Bobo, the cousin of country singer Whitney Duncan.

TBI director Mark Gwyn led the conference and gave his respects to the victim's family before publicly confirming the news.

"In light of the recent discovery of possible human remains found in Decatur County, TBI has been able to confirm ... that the remains are of Holly Bobo," Gwyn said.

Two men found a human skull on Sunday (Sept. 7) while looking for ginseng in a heavily wooded area. Bobo had been missing since April 13, 2011, when she disappeared from outside of her family's home while leaving for school.

"You can delay justice, but you can't deny it," new District Attorney Matt Stowe assures.

Earlier this year, Zach Adams of Holladay, Tenn. was charged with first-degree murder and aggravated kidnapping in connection with the case. Jason Wayne Autry has also been charged with kidnapping and murder. Two other men, Jeffrey Pearcy and his stepbrother, Mark Pearcy, are charged with tampering with evidence and accessory.

Keith Byrd, the Decatur County Sheriff, has only just taken office, but wanted to make sure anyone else who could be involved in the crime know they'll be found, also, saying: "You can run but you can't hide. We'll figure out who you are and you'll be brought to justice."
