Eagle Road is one of the busiest roads in the Treasure Valley, but today everything came to a halt with a head-on crash at the intersection of Linder and Hwy 44.

According to an article on KTVB, the accident happened at about 3 p.m. Three people were injured in the crash. One was transported by ambulance, the other two were able to be transported in a private vehicle. The Ada County Sheriffs Office says the injuries appear to be non-life-threatening.

The identities of those involved have not been released to the public.

The crash shut down southbound traffic on Linder Road and eastbound traffic on HWY 44 for nearly an hour, but traffic is back to normal now.

The cause of the crash continues to be under investigation. We're just grateful that the injuries were not more serious. A head-on crash is always very scary.
