Well it looks like we're taking one step forward and one step back which by the way is better than one step forward and two steps back... yes that's my attempt at making the situation seem a bit better.  Here is the truth of the matter... as of Thursday morning, Idaho had 4,645 cases. Wednesday there was 215 new cases reported and that's the single largest one-day spike the state has seen thus far..

During the press conference State Epidemiologist Dr. Christine Hahn said "Our cases have been increasing pretty dramatically in the last two weeks, over the 14 days that we have measured here."

Hahn added "Right now we are not using crisis standards of care in the hospitals,They are able to manage patients, they have enough ICU beds, they have enough ventilators we're all good for now."

Thursday was supposed to be the day we moved to phase 5 but that will not be happening until at least 2 weeks from now when the situation will be reevaluated.
