Southern Idaho is home to some great food. There are many local places to get a good bite to eat, as well as some popular food chains that call the area home. Some places have called Southern Idaho home in the past and for one reason or another have moved on. Some of these places never return, and others come back to success or end up leaving again. One food chain that once called Southern Idaho home is coming back and will be opening soon in the Magic Valley, but what will happen this time around?

Often when a place leaves the Magic Valley, it is because of poor location, lack of customers, or perhaps a corporate decision, depending on the place. Costa Vida once called Twin Falls home and was located at 1239 Pole Line Road E #301, next to Barnes and Noble. They left years ago, but are now set to return to a new location, hoping to find success and fill resident's stomachs with delicious fresh Mexican grilled food. The new location will be at 334 Cheney Drive W Suite 100 where Boomerang Coffee used to be located. This will be interesting as the location has a drive-thru already, but typically Costa Vidas does not have one. When reached out to for questions on the new location, Costa Vida failed to respond.

For those who have never had Costa Vida, it is similar to its competitor Chipotle. You have the option to have tacos, burritos, quesadillas, enchiladas, or a bowl and they make everything fresh in front of you as you go down the line and tell them what you want in or on your meal. They use fresh ingredients and it allows customers to enjoy good Mexican food that is healthier than fast food places. Grab some chips and pair them with guacamole, queso, or salsa to round out your meal. You can click the link in this paragraph to see the full menu.

With Costa Vida not responding, there is no set date or timeline for when Costa Vida will be opening, but as seen on the sign, they are coming soon. We will continue to try and reach out and update this story as more information becomes available. For more on Costa Vida and what they will offer in Twin Falls, make sure to click on the link in the second paragraph above.
