BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Payette National Forest officials say a bulldozer operator was injured while helping to fight a wildfire. The Idaho Statesman reports the bulldozer rolled Monday evening while the operator was constructing a helicopter landing spot on the southeast side of the Raft Fire. The worker was transported by air to a Boise hospital. The name and condition of the person has not been released. The U.S. Forest Service is investigating.
