Chase Rice is hitting the road this fall, and the 2017 Lambs & Lions Tour will also feature a handful of rising stars.

ToC RISERS act Jacob Davis is set to join Rice as an opening act on the multi-date tour at stops in Minnesota and Illinois. Rice will criss-cross the U.S. on a trek that kicks off Sept. 14 in Boone, N.C. and continues through the winter, wrapping on Feb. 10 in  Atlanta, Ga.

More Country Tours on the Road in 2017

The "Ready Set Roll" singer is also set for multiple dates in the U.K. and Ireland in December. Other country stars who will serve as opening acts include Brooke Eden, Filmore, Travis Denning and Sam Riggs.

The tour serves as promotion for Rice's upcoming Lambs & Lions album, which will be out via Broken Bow Records later this year. He signed with the label in June of 2017, telling fans, "I have a new family. BMG/Broken Bow Records, they have heard the record that I’ve been working on for the last three years. They love the record. They’re ready to rock, they’re ready to roll."

Rice's major-label debut album, Ignite the Night, was released in 2014 and topped Billboard's Top Country Albums chart. The album produced two top 5 singles on Billboard's Country Airplay chart, "Ready Set Roll" and "Gonna Wanna Tonight." In addition to writing his own singles, Rice also co-wrote Florida Georgia Line‘s smash hit “Cruise," with the duo's Brian Kelley co-writing two songs with Rice that appeared on Ignite the Night.
