Everyone knows that 4th of July consists of Americans blowing stuff up and eating hot dogs. But, I had no idea we ate this many hot dogs and spent this much money on fireworks during the 4th of July weekend.

Holiday's can be expensive! You may think the 4th of July is an inexpensive holiday because it's not celebrated with gifts. But the average family ends up spending $318.00 on the 4th of July and Americans as a whole spend $645million dollars on fireworks alone!

Most of the U.S. has been dealing with hot, dry weather for the past week.  So it's the exact WRONG time to be setting off millions of fireworks.  But obviously, it's gonna happen no matter what.
