Hey there, I’m Nikki West. I have been fortunate enough to do radio in Alaska, Oregon, Arizona and Idaho over the last 15 years in just about every music genre possible. I have met insanely talented people and had some amazing adventures including skydiving, flying in an F-16 with the Thunderbirds, Hot Air Ballooning and serving the communities I have worked in. I am a mama to a sweet 9 year old boy who grew up around music and radio and is the least shy child you will ever meet. I also have an incredible 13 year old pup who we call pumpkin. I love life and do everything I can to share great music, good vibes, kindness and a little humor to everyone’s day. -Until recently, you could hear Nikki on our sister station, 104.3 Wow Country before making the switch to Mix 106. Listen to Nikki talk about her adventures and other great local tidbits every weekday from 2PM to 7PM. AFTERNOONS – 2 PM-7 PM

Explore the Forgotten Art in Downtown Boise’s Underground Tunnels (Gallery)
The underground tunnels are mostly used by government and state employees. The tunnels go under streets, sidewalks and buildings mostly in and around the capitol in downtown Boise. Most of the original paintings are dated from 1986, 1987, and 1988. The original art has been hiding from the public in these underground tunnels for close to 35 years. I felt drawn to share them and hopefully get a few stories from the artists.
