During Monday’s City Council meeting, Councilman Lance Clow announced he is resigning his position so he can better prepare for his campaign for the Idaho House Seat for District 24. Clow is running as a Republican and will be on the ballot for the May 15th Primary election.

Mayor Dewayne Briscoe says someone logged in at the Elkhorn Fire Station and targeted specific dates.
TF City Council To Discuss Possible Appeal Of Canyon Park Development
The Twin Falls City Council will discuss the possibility of appealing a recent city Planning and Zoning approval of a preliminary plat for the proposed Canyon Park Development project. Developers are planning on building a small shopping mall on the empty lot between The Golden Corral Restaurant and the Snake River Canyon Rim.
Twin Falls Police Look For Vandals
The Twin Falls Police Department is looking for help to find the suspect or suspects who committed a rash of thefts and vandalism that happened from late Saturday night to early Sunday morning. As of 4 p.m. Sunday, the police had received 13 calls of theft and vandalism to yard decorations, lighting, vehicles, and landscaping to several homes and businesses in the northeast part of Twin Falls.

Kohl’s Dept. Store To Build In Twin Falls
Twin Falls will soon be home to the sixth Kohl’s Department Store in the state of Idaho. Twin Falls Community Development Director Mitch Humble told the Times News this week that the Wisconsin based company will be building a store in the new Canyon Park Development project in north Twin Falls along the Snake River Canyon rim.
Former Castleford Teacher To Plead Guilty To Video Voyeurism
A former Castleford High School teacher faces sentencing in June after accepting a plea agreement after being accused of videotaping high school girls in his hotel room. 34 year old Roger Wells was charged with video voyeurism in December after police say a boyfriend of one of the girls found a video camera in the bathroom of Wells’ hotel room where the girls were showering.
Burley Officials To Ask For Judicial Review For Wastewater System
City leaders in Burley say they’ll go to a judge instead of voters for permission to take on $6 million in long-term debt to improve the city’s wastewater system. Idaho law bars government entities from taking on long-term debt without voter approval, unless a judge agrees that the expense is ordinary and necessary to keep the government operating.

Twin Falls Man Victim Of Boise Shooting
The Boise Police Department has released surveillance video that caught a shooting on camera in downtown Boise early Sunday morning. The images show the suspects but not the victim who KTVB is reporting was a Twin Falls man who was shot in the leg. However, police have not released the victim’s name.
