Anti-Abuse Organization Creates Billboard Only Children Can Read

This is truly remarkable.

A Spanish anti-abuse organization has created a special billboard that only children can read. The idea behind the billboard is heartbreaking, but simple: what if a child is traveling with their aggressor and they need help? This billboard displays a message only they can read.

Using a lenticular lens,the billboard displays a different image depending on the height of the viewer. It uses the same principal behind those old baseball cards we used to collect that would show the athlete in motion when you held it at a certain angle, but this message is far more important.

Children see the following message on the street sign: “If somebody hurts you, phone us and we’ll help you,” along with a confidential number. Adults see, “Sometimes, child abuse is only visible to the child suffering it.”

This is an incredible idea. I hope to see these put into use around the world.
