A three vehicle crash closed part of US highway 30 Monday afternoon. According to Idaho State Police a teen driver was stopped on US 30 and 1700 East near Buhl, preparing to make a left run. Another driver came up behind the teen as she was waiting to turn. At the same time 24 year old Ernesto Guarderrama of Wendell came up on the stopped cars but failed to yield in time and rear ended the second car, pushing it into the vehicle trying to turn. A 60 year old passenger in the middle car had to be taken by ground ambulance to St. Luke’s Magic Valley Regional Medical Center with minor injuries. Everyone was wearing a seat belt. Alcohol was not a factor. East and west bound lanes where blocked for about 45 minutes.
