BOISE — Sunday’s lightning storm ignited 10 small fires north of the Trinity Ridge fire. Firefighters quickly contained the majority of the fires Monday, and plan to have the fire under control by Tuesday. Due to firefighter’s efforts,  Featherville and Pine residents will be allowed access to their property Tuesday, for a limited time to check property and retrieve personal items. Roads will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Although fire crews have saved all the homes and structures in Featherville, significant smoke and risks prevent residents from returning to their homes for now The Trinity Ridge fire is burning over 128,000 acres.
