Filer Residents Inured After being hit by Truck

(KLIX)- Two Filer residents were taken to a hospital after being rear-ended by a semi-truck east of Mountain Home Monday Afternoon. According to Idaho State Police 73 year old  Elizabeth Shumaker-McKay of Filer was headed towards Twin Falls with 71 year old James McKay in a Chevy sedan. ISP says she was going at a slower speed when a Semi-truck being driven by Dallas Lappin of Emmett hit them. The cars passengers were taken to an area hospital. Everyone was wearing seat belts. The truck driver was sited for inattentive driving.
