The annual Pomerelle Star Party and Kids Fest at The Herrett Center
Garry Carson’s ‘Magical Mystery Show’ comes to the CSI Fine Arts Auditorium tomorrow (Saturday) at 2 and 7 p.m. Carson was a long-running magician at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas and has appeared before audiences around the world. Tickets are $10 each at the door. (We’ll have vouchers to give away. They’re for the 2:00 show only and must be redeemed between 1 and 1:30 p.m. Saturday)
Pomerelle Star Party is this Saturday at Pomerelle Ski Resort south of Albion. Solar viewing and water bottle rocket launching starting at 3, chairlift rides to the mountain top starting at 8:30 with free sky viewing until midnight.
Kids Fest is from 10 to 3 this Saturday at the Herrett Center. There’ll be 35 exhibits, vendors, and fun things for kids and their families all around the Herrett Center for Arts and Science, located on the North College Road entrance to CSI. CSI Athletes, firemen and a fire truck, medical displays and the St. Luke’s helicopter, lots of health information for families, lots of stuff to eat and drink, bounce houses, and more. It’s all free.
