September 4, 2012 Another Labor Day Weekend is gone, and we have another Twin Falls County Fair in the books. My Facebook page was flooded with fair pictures over the weekend: The obligatory foot-long corn dog pic, candid photos of the animals on display, and little kids having an amazing time. It looked like a lot of fun.
And yet I also read many status updates that were disappointed this year.
August 31, 2012 I always get sucked into playing the games at the midway and before I know it, I've spent $35 bucks on a velvet picture of a leopard that isn't worth $10.

August 30, 2012 It's not really a fair question is it? I tend to eat my way from one end of the fairgrounds to the other. But if I was limited on only one thing I could eat at the fair, I think I'd choose the elephant ear.
August 30, 2012 I'm a little protective when it comes to food. Just ask my wife. But I'm particularly stingy when it comes to fair food. I'm not sure exactly what it is; I think it's because it only comes around once a year and it's one of the few chances I get to really chow down without feeling guilty.
