It costs $1.8 million a day to operate St. Jude, and public donations provide more than 70 percent of our funding. But the most important reason is, in the words of St. Jude founder Danny Thomas: "No child should die in the dawn of life."

October 3, 2012 Everyone I know has been directly effected by cancer. I have seen friends lose sisters, Uncles, Grandparents, friends, etc. I think death teaches us a lot about who we are and what life really means to us. While loosing someone from old age seems natural, cancer seems so ridged. Cancer robs us of something that can't be replaced...our loved ones.
In the past few months, Jake Owen has made it clear that he wishes it could be summertime all year long. In addition to releasing an ‘Endless Summer’ EP with four summery tracks, when the handsome country crooner became the headliner for this year’s CMT on Tour package, his multi-city trek was named the ‘Jake Owen: The Summer Never Ends 2012′ tour. He’ll close the tour in December with a stopover in his hometown of Vero Beach, Fla. There, he’ll hold his annual hometown fundraiser to raise money for Autism Speaks, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, and several local charities and organizations.
Country fan favorite Toby Keith is facing allegations that he refused to sign a guitar to help raise money for St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

October 5, 2011 I love this video because it reminds us that St. Jude's Childrens's Hospital is a place of hope. These kids aren't worried about their next treatment, they're thinking about what they want to be when they grow up
When Jessica was young, she participated in her school's Math-A-Thon. Her mom, Allison, a teacher, always felt they were helping the kids featured in the Math-A-Thon Funbook. But the summer Jessica turned 9 years old, she was found to suffer from acute lymphoblastic leukemia, the most common form of childhood cancer, and the family's perspective changed
Main Street Bar and Grill in Richfield is hosting a 2 day fund raising bike rally, August 6th and 7th in Richfield.
They are planning food, bands, entertainment, games, and much more.
A cow and a pig will be roasted at Main Street Bar and Grill for lunch on Saturday at Noon for a suggested $5 donation.
