Our local QRU is made up of mostly volunteers who donate their time to save lives. You can help make sure they are ready with the skills and equipment necessary to help. The 2016 QRU Fundraiser is Sunday June 5th at the Twin Falls County Fairgrounds.

Every day of the year the Twin Falls Animal Shelter makes an impact on our community by taking in, caring for, and finding homes for cats and dogs (and sometimes chickens and bunnies)! The Furr Ball is their biggest fundraiser of the year and helps with the emergency care fund.

Giving back to the local community is a big part of many families holiday traditions. Over the weekend Success Marital Arts helped the Salvation Army organize food and toy donations in Twin Falls. With any sport or school activity, comes fund raising.  It's quite simple.  If we want to do the stuff, we have to chip in.  There's simply not enough money to go around to totally fund every group, club, sport and activity.  So... the kids raise funds.  They sell candy bars, pizzas, popcorn and cookie dough.

KEZJ's Boomer reported that a Shetland pony by the name of Patches was stolen from it's Rupert home on Saturday night. An unknown individual attached Patches to their vehicle and dragged him for more than a mile on asphalt. The pony was then dragged down a gravel canal bank, ripping the skin from his body.
