Should Women Keep Their Maiden Name When Getting Married? [POLL]

mitjamavsar, Flickr

Last names can get confusing for women impractical. A lot of women choose to keep there maiden names for career reasons and in the end it seems to make things a lot simpler for them and the people around them.

I have a few friends who had there names changed when they were younger due to there parents remarrying. Then when they got married they took their husbands last name and if they married again they took yet anther last name. By that point everyone is confused about what your last name really is.

I think it might be easier if everyone just kept the last name that they were born with. Some husbands may take offense to this in the beginning but if it became the norm to could be OK.
