COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho (AP) — At least two Idaho juveniles face felony child endangerment charges for their treatment of an unconscious party-goer. Kootenai County Sheriff's Lt. Stu Miller says the 16-year-old boy was left unattended near a fire pit for several hours and later became hypothermic after he was sprayed with water and then dragged off the property and left outside in near-freezing temperatures.

He says the boy could have died had he been left outside for another couple of hours. The Coeur d'Alene Press reports at least two teens and possibly three face endangerment, drug and alcohol charges.

The boy suffered a second-degree burn on his arm and his body temperature was in the low 90s when he was found Sunday morning. Marijuana and alcohol were found in the house. The homeowners were out of town.
