Baltimore and Buffalo were winners on Monday night with each team keeping its playoff hopes alive. Here is a recap of the night's action:

Baltimore 34, New Orleans 27

Justin Forsett ran for 182 yards and two touchdowns and the Baltimore Ravens beat the Saints, 34-27, in New Orleans on Monday night. Will Hill’s 44-yard interception return for a touchdown broke a third quarter tie and helped give Baltimore (7-4) the win.

With the game tied at 17 midway through the third quarter, New Orleans (4-7) was marching down the field when Hill picked off Drew Brees and returned the ball for a score. The Ravens added a field goal and Forsett's second rushing touchdown of the game in the fourth quarter to seal the victory.

The Saints bolted out to a 17-14 lead at halftime on the strength of two Brees touchdown passes and Shayne Graham’s 20-yard field goal. Brees completed 35 of his 45 pass attempts for 420 yards, three touchdowns and the costly interception.

Despite their third straight home loss, New Orleans remained tied for first place in the NFC South with Atlanta.

Kyle Orton threw for 230 yards and two touchdowns and the Buffalo Bills routed the New York Jets, 38-3, in Detroit on Monday night. The game, which was originally scheduled for Ralph Wilson Stadium in Orchard Park, N.Y. on Sunday afternoon, was moved to Ford Field when the Buffalo region was blanketed by more than five feet of snow from a lake-effect storm last week.

The Bills (6-5) scored on their first possession of the game when Orton tossed a 7-yard touchdown to Robert Woods with 8:04 left in the first quarter. Orton later connected with Scott Chandler for a 19-yard TD just before halftime to give Buffalo a 14-3 lead at intermission.

The Bills put the game away with 17 points in the third quarter, including a blocked punt by Anthony Dixon that was recovered for a score by Manny Lawson. Dixon added a 30-yard TD run in the fourth quarter.

New York (2-9) allowed quarterback Michael Vick to be sacked five times. Vick was 7-for-19 for 76 yards with an interception before being replaced by Geno Smith late in the third quarter. Smith completed 10 of his 12 pass attempts for 89 yards. He was sacked twice.
