Terry Morgan

Nobody puts Terry in a corner. That line has absolutely nothing to do with anything (besides the not-so-subtle Dirty Dancing reference), but there was no other way to start this bio. An avid science fiction fan, Terry spends most of his time dreaming of escaping in a little blue box known as the TARDIS, creating his own Lightsaber, or giant fighting alien robots from the planet Cybertron. Surprisingly, he's actually married with children. Originally from Steamboat Springs, Colorado, Terry enjoys living in Idaho and plans to stay for as long as they’ll keep him.

Thanks To Twin Falls Listeners Griffin the Dog May Be Getting a New Ankle

On Tuesday, December 11th, I took Katie's dog Griffin in for an x-ray because we were worried that his leg had been hurting. It turned out to be much more than just pain.

The x-ray revealed Griffin had buckshot embedded in his back and hips, and his right rear leg had been broken in two places--his knee and ankle--and improperly set leaving the joints to be almost fused and useless. A shelter dog before Katie adopted him, Griffin looked to be the victim of animal cruelty.

But thanks to Twin Falls listeners, Griffin may be getting a new ankle!

How Do We Keep Our Kids Safe Online? [Terry's Tech Support]

Recently Brad posted a thoughtful article on the dangers of keeping your kids' safe online. His concerns were sparked by a recent study by the Federal Trade Commission that found that most mobile apps for kids are secretly collecting data from their smartphones. Scary, right?

Brad, arguably my arch-nemesis tech geek in the building, surmised that the only true way to keep your kids safe online was to completely unplug and get off the grid. Unfortunately, unless you're Amish, I don't think that's going to cut it with your kids.

But there is a way to keep your kids safe.

This year marks the end of a long standing Christmas tradition: the Rock Creek Christmas Lights--which locals call the "South Hills Lights." This is the final year to drive out to the South Hills and see the lights at the Wojcik's home, walk through the display, and feed 'Bull' the Camel.
