The Aliens in the Nighttime Sky South of Twin Falls

A member of our listening audience isn’t convinced.  He believes what he saw Friday night south of Twin Falls possibly was an Unidentified Flying Object.  He admits it could have been military aircraft, however.  The lights he saw didn’t follow typical jet flight patterns.

He asked if he was alone in what he saw.

I don’t think we’re alone.  I’m not talking about visitors from outer space.  I’m talking about the number of people who report seeing UFO’s.  A staggering number of our fellow citizens across the country routinely claim unusual sights in the nighttime sky, when lights would be more visible.

This website details the filed reports.  Who knows how many never get reported?  Twin Falls makes the list this month, so far, with another half-dozen communities.  What impresses me is the similarities in the reports of what people are seeing.  The detailed similarities.

I drove Route 93 from Nevada in the early morning hours a few summers ago.  On a clear night.  I saw nothing out of the ordinary but if you’re going to see something, it’s a place ripe for an encounter.  The sight lines are amazing and there are few obstructions.

A friend was stationed at Nellis Air Force Base in the ‘70s.  He suggests if we are being visited, desert and high desert offer extraterrestrials some ability for research without many disturbances.

My friend isn’t a crackpot.  He served in one White House and was at one point in his career the Air Force liaison to Congress.

I drive to work mornings when it’s dark and early.  I’m not sure E.T. has an interest in Washington Street.  Even at 2:45 A.M. it can be quite a busy stretch of road.  Route 93, on the other hand, is a bit less congested during those early parts of the day.

By the way, maybe we'll be seeing more aliens.  According to this link, the drive home may be getting out of reach!
