In a post on their Facebook page, Magic Mountain announced that this is the final weekend of the season.

Pomerelle Ski Resort in Malta Idaho is a popular resort for Magic Valley skiers and snowboarders. This winter the resort has seen snow storm after snow storm.

Recently, we took video of Howell Canyon Road, also known as Pomerelle road. Please note the video doesn't reflect actual speeds. The road had been plowed and sanded making driving conditions OK. However, if I've learned anything about reporting driving conditions it's that everyone's definition of "OK" is different...

The Magic Valley is a great place to live if you enjoy skiing or snowboarding! The best part about our local ski resorts is they are truly perfect mountains to learn on.

This time of the year is amazing for looking to the skies at night. Especially if you are far away from the light pollution of town. When you head to the Pomerelle Star Party you'll see more stars than possible if you stay in town.

We are fortunate in the Magic Valley to have three very nice ski areas near us. Sun Valley is great, but Bruce Willis won't let us cut in line on the chair lift. We have Magic Mountain and Pomerelle, too. If you had to choose just one, where would your skis call home?

The cold weather is upon us. While me might not like putting away our flip flops and shorts we are excited to dust off our snowboards and skis.
