Most days mom are just trying to get through homework packets, laundry, packing lunches, keeping schedule's straight, making dinner, etc. Do we really have time to be competitive with other moms?

As parents, sometimes it is difficult to get through to your kids. Recently, a 13-year-old boy's mother got through to him by writing him a letter. The young man had told his mother that he didn't want to be told what to do anymore. He had just started earning a small income. So, he thought he shouldn't be told what to do anymore by his mother.

I know times have changed - but when I was a kid I would leave the house in the morning and not come home sometimes until dinner. Apparently today that is child endangerment! Recently a mother was arrested for letting her 7 year old son go to the park alone.

Kerry Campbell took herself out of the race for Mother of the Year Thursday when she revealed to 'Good Morning America' that she gives her 8-year-old pageant queen daughter Botox injections. Campbell, a part-time aesthetician, told 'GMA's' Lara Spencer that she does the injections herself, and claims the reason she started giving them was due to pressure from other pageant moms.

Boy meets girl.  Boy marries girl. . . and then, as they went to the airport to fly to their honeymoon in France . . . the groom's mom showed up.  And the groom told his new wife he'd invited mom along on the honeymoon.
