It's impossible to measure the importance of a good teacher in the lives of our kids. That's why we want to pay tribute to the educators in the Magic Valley. Thank you for your nominations. Another year is about to go down in history. 2013, like any year, had its ups and downs but, thanks to you, saw some of the most popular stories in the history of Townsquare Media Twin Falls. Topics ranged from saving the local drive-in movie theaters to the Giraffe Challenge on Facebook...

With almost 2,300 votes so far, the action has been brisk but we're in the home stretch. Time is running out to vote for the Magic Valley Teacher of the Year! At last check Jerome High School's Scott Burton had taken the lead, but Wendell Middle School's Travis Robison and Filer Intermediate's Kent Snow were hot on his heels. Voting deadline is May 28th, 2013 at midnight.
