The Idaho Transportation Department has upgraded its traveler information site to check road conditions – just in time for winter.

Idaho State Police is warning motorists that driving between Glenns Ferry and Mountain Home this morning is risky, as there have been multiple crashes and slide-offs due to inclement weather.

Yet another temporary traffic pattern is expected to take place for about eight hours starting at 10 p.m. on Tuesday on the interstate.

If you’re planning to travel to eastern Idaho in the early morning hours of Wednesday, be aware that traffic will be detoured.

It’s a few years out, but come 2024 the Idaho Transportation Department plans to rebuild the interchange at Interstate 84 and State Highway 50.

A multi-vehicle crash happened Wednesday morning in Nampa.

Mother Nature caused an overnight detour near Heyburn, which was supposed to happen Wednesday morning, to be postponed until Thursday.

Road crews will be keeping busy this week in Cassia County as two projects will cause detours Wednesday on the interstate.
